Notes:
MARRIAGE: First marriage may have taken place in Richfield, Ohio. He had been married before Sally and had no children from that first marriage.
CENSUS: 1830 Line #15, Hinckley Township, Medina County living near Milton Curtiss. Age probably between 40-50 as only one male in the household is listed.
SOURCE_OF_NAME: "Robert Burrows and Descendants 1630-1974", by R.E. Burrows, 1975, 1816 pgs, Ann Arbor, Michigan [pg 254] Also mentioned in "Early Days of the Pioneers Cuyahoga County and Brooklyn Township", by Ebenezer Foster, pg.18.
DEATH: Death had to be before 1860 as he does not appear in the census but his wife, Sally, and her children, do.
The following obituary is probably for Lathrop Sr's son. The year of birth seems to make him too young to marry Sally Foster, who was born in 1813 and if Lathrop Sr., who married Sally, was really 40-50 in 1830, then he almost seems too old to be the father of the individual shown below, too.
OBIT: Name: Pixley, Lathrop
Date: 1862

Notes: 1831 - 1862. Dennison Cemetery
Lathrop m. Sally FOSTER, @ 6 Oct 1825, , Cuyahoga, Ohio. Sally (daughter of Michael B. FOSTER, @ and Abigail FISH) b. Abt 1807, Groton, New London, Connecticut; d. Aug 1867, Brooklyn, Cuyahoga, Ohio, USA. [Group Sheet]
- Sally FOSTER, @ b. Abt 1807, Groton, New London, Connecticut; d. Aug 1867, Brooklyn, Cuyahoga, Ohio, USA.
Notes:
I originally had Sally's birth year estimated at 1813, but if her marriage date is correct, she would have been far too young to marry, especially to a man who was 45 at the time. It is more likely that she is one of the older children of Michael and Abigail and probably born prior to 1807.
MARRIAGE: She married Lathrop Pixley per LDS records in the IGI for 06 OCT 1825 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
MARRIAGE: FOSTER, SALLY and PILEY, LATHROP vol.0002 pg.0075 (Cuyahoga County Marriage Index)
Had nine children, six of whom survived to adulthood, per a book written by her brother, Ebenezer, titled: "Early Days of the Pioneers", 1880.
CENSUS: 1850 - Living with son, Lathrop, daughter Susan, and sons, Denison and William.
