1. FRY, not FREY. Buried in Old Mill Creek Presbyterian Cemetery, Hookstown, PA, near Route 168. The marker says she died in 1888, age 82, meaning her birth year would be 1806, not 1804, but folks back then often did not truly know their exact age.

2. Claims that the writer Edgar Allan Poe had once come to the Hookstown, PA area, "the West" back then, to visit the Poes and that he was thrown out because he was a drunk. The writer apparently has claimed that his line of Poes was only in Ireland a few generations, so maybe his line and ours has some very distant connection.

3. This may be Lydia and dau Sarah on the 1880 census. It would be more consistent with dieing in 1888 at age 82 (born 1806). Dau Sarah supposedly married a Mr. Stewart but she is listed on this census entry as "S"(ingle). Needs further research.
