    I William Whitaker of New Salem in the county of Franklin on oath depose and say that Rebecca Hememway, widow, of East Nassau, in the county of Ransalear, and state of New York, Catherine Cary, wife of William H. Cary, & Sarah Houlton, wife of James Houlton both ofHoulton, in the county of Washington & State of Maine; Benjamin Haskell, Samuel Haskell, Jacob Haskell & Ashbel G. Haskell of New Salem in the county of Franklin and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, are children, and the only children, ofSarah Haskell, who was a pensioner of the United States under the 3d section of the act of Congress passed July 4, 1836, at the rate of Forty dollars per annum, and that her certificate credated at the war office of the United States, the nineteenth day of June one thousand eight hundred and thirty eight; and numbered 2135; that the said Sarah Haskell was a resident of New Salem in the saidcounty of Franklin; and that the said Sarah Haskell died on the 18th day of June AD. 1838.
