    She was a sister of Jonas' brother Joshua's wife Rachel. Aspinwallsaid in his works that "he personally saw the family Bible of Jonas Mainin 1900, then in possession of his great grandson Thomas W. Wheeler (p.83) of North Stonington, Conn. Mrs. Wheeler told Aspinwall that herhusband's grandmother, Patience (Maine) Peckham (#69, p. 35), who livedto be 97 years old, told her that her father, Jonas Main, kept this Bibleat his maill in Milltown, (North Stonington) and was a constant reader ofthis Bible when there was no grist to grind."
