    Notes:
~CORRESPONDENCE: (from me to Bill Bossong) - It occurred to me that Mary Yagello's address at the time of the issuance of her marriage license might provide a clue as to whether she is really the wife of whom I have listed as Johann Alexius Bobko. Fairview Park Library has historical marriage licenses on microfilm, so if you used the volume and page number (YAGELLO, MARY & BOBKO, ALEXIUS vol.0098 pg.0308) you'd be able to see what is listed for her and the John (or if his name was really Alex) she married. If you ever find out, be sure to let me know. The license might also provide the names of her parents which would be useful if she turns out to be the right Mary.
Although my head is swimming right now over John and Alex, I'm going to guess that I plugged in Alexius as johann's middle name based solely on that marriage license index entry. Bad assumption on my part.
It does seem that Johann and Alex were probably brothers. Their mother's names shown on the death certificates were close enough to suggest that that is the case. (ie. Mary Zurnak vs Mary Czrnak)

"Mary Turchek, my step-grandmother, was a wonderful, warm, loving woman who adored us kids. And, she was a great cook!!! She always kept ginger ale on the back porch for us when we would visit. Funny how memories come back. My grandparents never spoke any English, only Ukranian. Therefore, I never understood a word they said. Still have a picture of them hanging in my home."
