They started their married life and family in Ledyard.William purchased land in a quaint little town of Old Mystic, Conn. Hereis where he built their home and had to walk miles to acheive his goal.Mary Etta was a school teacher, a member of the Old Mystic Baptist Churchand belonged to the Ladies Aid Society.
William and Mary were understanding, warm and loving. They were married41 years.
