  3. Hannah (Johanna) FISH b. 13 Dec 1824, Brooklyn, Cuyahoga, Ohio.

    Notes:
There is no solid proof at this time that this Hannah is the one who was married to Lewis Fowles, however, the 1900 census lists his wife as a 75 year old and shows that she was born in Dec 1824, the same month and year that Ebenezer Fish's daughter, Hannah, was born.

MARRIAGE: Possible record for this union: FISH, HANNAH and FOWLS, LEWIS 0004 0285

This quote provides the confirmation that Hannah (Joanna) DID marry into the Fowls/Fowles family:
"Two other children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Ebenezer FISH, Johanna (now Mrs. FOWLS), and John Moses married Miss BRAINERD. They endured hardships and discomforts long before enjoying the ordinary pleasures of existence. Fever and ague also added to the trials of the first settlers. Ebenezer was ninety-three when he died." ----Memorial To The Pioneer Women Of The Western Reserve
