    Notes:
A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the M. E. Church at Bristol, on last Thursday evening June 26, 1902, on which occasion Mr. Eugene C. Smith, who resides near this city and Miss Alice M. Stevens, of Bristol, Wis., took upon themselves the solemn obligations of wedded life. Mr. Smith is a young man that is an honor to any community, and his bride is a most highly accomplished and estimable young lady with whom it is a pleasure to know. Rev. Cole formerly of this city and who united in marriage the bride and groom's parents, performed the ceremony. The bride's sister, Mary Stevens, was maid of honor and the brides maids were the Misses Jennie Stevens, Luna Buck, Addie Barter, Lulu Rue Bottom, the best man was Ray Hankinson of this city. Those present from this city were Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Smith, the groom's parents, and daughter Ethylin, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cadwallader, Mr. and Mrs. R. Hankinson and daughter, Hazel, Honor Stair, Maude Gillies. A most elaborate wedding breakfast followed the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents. The wedding presents were many, costly and beautiful, among which was a fine piano and a beautiful mahogany dining set. The young couple will make their future home near this city. They have our best wishes to their future happiness.
