(2b) 1745, 3 Sep: Ithamer ANDRUS, age 16 years, chose his uncle James ENSIGN to be his guardian. Silvanus ANDREWS, age 20 years, chose his uncle William BACON of Hartford to be his guardian.

Forrest, 2nd--- My mother remembers havingpicnics as a child at her grandmother's - Grandma Laura - The Staples House that still stands in front of Farmington High School - used to be a farm. My daughter remembers my mother telling her it was a tea shoppe for a while.
Sister Florence married Everitt Staples. Living in same house in 1920 in New Britain (Bassett St) to Lewis and Jennie Andrews, before Farmington Ave House. Laura married William C.Hart, after Ernest died, and lived with Gertrude(her daughter)& Willard Hart in Berlin. 6/22 - just spoke with Forrest Hart - Gertrude diedat 42, 10 year old Harriet found her on the bed - Grandma Laura took very goodcare of the children. Then her son Eugene died in 1965. And of course her first husband Ernest also died young.
