      Eli bought, 18 Feb.. 1787.10 acres of land in Windsor, for 100
      pounds ; 5 Jan., 1793, bought of Elisha, his father, for 15
      pounds, 7 acres "with all the rye now standing or growing on
      it" ; 28 Mar., 1798, he and Elisha his brother of Suffield,
      bought 10 acres in Windsor for 15 pounds ; 22 Mar., 1803, sold
      Elisha, for $200, 37 acres, partly "on the Pine Plain, so
      called," and bought of Elisha 20 acres in sundry pieces for
      $90; 14 Oct., 1803, bought of Mary Winchell land for $20 ; 20
      Oct., 1803, sold 6 acres for $220; 29 Oct.,land for 106
      pounds; 8 Feb., 1804, 21 acres on Pine Plain for $180; 1 May,
