• Notes	One record indicated Maria and Richard married 17 Apr 1854, but marriage at 12 is very unlikely. Maria is married at age 18 (1860 census) and no children are on the census, so I will use Est 1859 as the marriage date. Mayerson Spence and Maria Poe were married in Concord, Jefferson Co., WI. Jefferson Marriage Records, Vol. D, p 6 or 96.
