  This is a son fo Mathias Shanor who married Sophronia Poe and had five sons, Henry, Adam, David, George, and Mathias Jr. In turn this Mathias Shanor jr, married Nancy Welch and had a son named Mathias. Upon the death of Mathias Jr. in 1850, who by now was a Sr. and his son Jr. the son petioned in the Orphans Court of Venango County in November 1856, for a divison of the estate, to all heirs.
