    • Ebenezer fought in the Civil War as three of his children at the same time.
      Also a brother Daniel Bliss Shaner.
      From "History of Hocking Valley" he moved from Mushingum Co., to Athens Co.,
      in December 1834.
      Serve in Mexican War (1846-1848) Served in Civil War U.S. Army Co. A 63rd Ohio
      Infantry. He was sick and was discharged after eighteen (18) months. Drew a
