      241. Harvey Chapman, son of Hervey Chapman, born May 17, 1818, marrie
      d Caroline Beals, January 8, 1843, and only has one child . He is a s
      ilversmith by trade. (have located him in Kenton as a Jeweler. His fa
      ther lived with him after returning from Iowa.)
      Harvey Chapman for many years conducted a jewelry store on the site o
      f the present Suprise Clothing Store. His first jewelry store, howeve
      r, was located on the north side of the square.
      Harvey Chapman Sr. was the father of Harvey Chpman, jewler in Kento
      n for many years.
      Death Certificate states he was a farmer.

      The funeral services over the remains of thelate Harvey Chapman hel
      d this (Friday) afternoon were largely attended. Thebody being cons
      igned to its grave in Grove cemetery. Rev. J.H. Fitzwat erofficiated.
