OBIT: Adrian Theodore "Ted" Wagner was a retired locomotive engineer. He worked at the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Co.'s Avon Lake plant for 25 years, until 1968.
He and his wife, the former Gertrude Ruetenik, were married for 65 years.
Mr. Wagner died yesterday at the Park Vista retirement center in Youngstown. He was 92.
He was born in Youngstown. He lived in Westlake for 51 years until he moved back to Youngstown 10 months ago.
Mr. Wagner was a member of the Church of the Redeemer, United Church of Christ, Westlake.
His hobbies included woodworking.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Wagner is survived by a daughter, Nancy Louise Rumbold of Cleveland; a son, Neal T. of Boardman; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Church of the Redeemer, United Church of Christ, 23500 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake.
Arrangements are being handled by Burmeister-Busch Funeral Home of Avon.
