    • The following excerpt from "Genealogical & Family History of Central New York, Vol 1" by William Cutter:
      " Miller Fish, son of Nathaniel was born in Stoningham Oct 9, 1737. He settled in Hartford, and in 1790, had, according to the first census, five males over sixteen, one under that age, and three females in his family. His brother Eliakim had two females and no sons in his family at that time."
