Oscar attended Alfred University, taught 38 terms ofschool andwas a member of the Little Genesee Seventh Day Baptist Church.Oscarwas a town Justice in Geneseee Township for many years.He was always a friend of the poor and "Champion of theUnderdog". His backlog of human experience wasa help toeveryone. Oscar was involved in oil in Kansas, Ohio andAllegany Co.,NY. For a time he operated a store in LittleGenesee, which later became Fred Burdick' s store. Oscar'shobbies were poetry and avid fishing.
