July 10, 1841, locating on Section7 the same fall; Ethan BURDICK died in March, 1879; his wifesurvives him; E. L. BURDICK located on the farm he now ownsof229 acres in 1845. He married Miss Philena, daughter of Abeland Lucy A. BABCOCK, March 20,1845; they have one son - G. D.,and two daughters - Maggie E. and May M. Mr. B. is a Republicanof the old Whig school; has served as Assessorseven or eightterms; was Supervisor during the rebellion, and was actingChairman about 1859; has also been Justice of the Peace a numberof terms. The familyattend the Seventh-Day Baptist Church,Milton Junction.
