  Crawford Cemetery 1 NOTE Was an "old maid" for much of her life while she taught art inthe local schools. Later she married the local shop teacher,Joe Horney. Taken from her obit in the Salamanca Republican Press: Graduated from Alfred University. Married in 1937 to JosephHorney. She was an Art Teacher in Salamanca School system until1967. Member of the Daughters of the American Revolution,Retired Teachers Association, Cattaraugus County Living ArtsAssociation and Mizpah Capter 162 Order of Easter Star.Surviving are one niece, Rosemary Gray of Olean, one nephewDavid Cone of Depew and several great and great-great nieces.
