In Wirt, N. Y.,Nov 9th, 1866, of hemorrage of the lungs, OskerKenyon, son of Joel and LovinaKenyon, of Wirt, aged 26 years.Brother Kenyon experienced religion in youth, and united withthe Seventh-day Baptist Church in Richburg. When his countrycalled for volunteers in the late civil war, he enlisted; buthis constitution was not equal to the hardships of camp life,and he was honorably discharged, but never recovered goodhealth. Last spring his health failed so much that he wasunable to do much hard work. He has maintained a Christiancharacter that won the esteem of all who knew him. He leaves awife and child, and a numerous circle ofrelatives and friends,to mourn his loss. L. A.
