1 NOTE "The"Clarke" Families of Rhode Island"; by George AustinMorrison, Jr.; The EveningPost Job Printing House, New York;1902, p 162.

      "The Milton Journal", Wed, 12 Feb 1896, p 1.
Thursday morning, January 30, Mrs. Albert Clarke, mother of Dr.Ella Crandall, passed quietly away at her home in Milton.Indeed, so quietly did the end come, it was like the fallingasleep of a child.
Mrs. Clarke was born and raised in Scott, N. Y., and alwayslived there till 1888, she with her husband moved to Milton tobe near their daughter Ella.
Mrs. Clarke has been a quiet woman. Hers has been a life ofquiet useful service. She enjoyed very muchthe society of thefriends with whom she became acquainted.
The thought of death had for her no terror as was shown by aremark she made but a few days beforeher departure. Whenspeaking of her son Charles whose death occured about six yearsago, she said, "Only think he has gone but a little before andis waiting for me."
A husband and three daughters are left to "wait a littlelonger."
Burial services were held at the late residence Sabbathafternoon, Feb. 1. Thoughtfulhearts and loving hands hadbeautified the house with flowers and plants. A large concourseof people gathered and all were made comfortable because of thethoughtful arrangements.
Another home is broken. Another wife and mother has gone. Yetwhile earthly ties are so quickly broken, may all meet upon theeternal shore.
