In 1842, hemoved with his parents to Milton, Rock Co., Wis.. He commencedthe study of medicine under the instructions of Ebenezer RIDER,M. D., at Milton, finishing at Rush Medical College, of Chicago,andthe College of Physicians and Surgeons, of New York. He wasmarried to Almeda E. COON Dec. 30, 1847. In the spring of 1856,he removed with his family to Austin, Mower Co., Minn., where hepracticed his profession for fourteen years, removing again inthe year of 1870, back to his old home in Milton, Wis., where henow resides.
