      Benjamin HallStillman enlisted in Co. D, 7th Wis. Inf., Vols.,and was in service in the "Iron Brigade," and was in everybattle of the Army of the Patomac from Chancellorsville toAppomatox during the Civil War. He was for many years a memberof the S.D. B. Church, G. A. R., and I. O. O. F. He is buriedin the Old Fellows Cemetery at White Salmon.
