  • Notes
    • He is probably a grandson of one the 4 Storer brothers (Joseph, Samuel, Webster, and ) who settled in Brooklyn, Ohio. Most likely grandfather is Joseph Storer Sr. because Russell is buried in the same cemetery lot as Joseph Sr. and Jr.

      OBIT: Name: Storer, Russell B.
      Date: Jan 5 1931
Source: Source unknown; Cleveland Necrology File, Reel #078.
Notes: Storer: Russell B., age 78 years, beloved husband of the late Mary D., father of Mrs. Cora Monroe and grandfather and great-grandfather. Saturday, Jan. 3, 1931, at daughter's residence, 1387 Plainfield Road, South Euclid. Now at Mather's Parlors, 3227 W. 25th Street, where services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 6, at 3 p. m.

Who is the following obituary for? It says she's the mother of Cora Monroe (just like Russell's does) but it says she's the wife of the late Joseph Storer. I'm not sure what to make of this. She would have been born about 1831, so quite a bit older than Russell. Maybe there were two Cora's that married someone named Monroe?

      Name: Storer, Sarah E.
      Date: April 3, 1917
Source: Source unknown; Cleveland Necrology File, Reel #078.
Notes: Storer-Sarah E., in her 86th year, widow of the late Joseph, mother of Cora Monroe and sister of Mrs. Anna Hines, Cleveland; Mrs. Julia Collins, Indiana; Mrs. Mary McCullop, California. Funeral from late residence, 3200 Denison ave., Tuesday, April 3, at 2 p.m
