Czech newspaper article of July 8, 1938: Charles Tomsik and his wife, Lena, a teacher in the Ceska Svobodomysina Skola (Czech Free-Thinking School) on the West Side of Cleveland, left for New York July 2 where they boarded the liner Bremen. In Czechoslovakia they will visit in Bohutin, and return by way of France. [Is Bohutin the birthplace of his father, John?]

Born to John Tomsik & Mari Rozhon, a male, white, on 5-28-1896 while living at 118 Sackett. I obtained this from the large birth index books during a visit to the county courthouse. I either did not find or did not record the volume, page, and certificate number.
