DOCUMENT - 7 Oct 1777 Lot assignment recorded in court-'Settlement of the Estate of Joseph Foster late of New Salem in the County ofHampshire deceased Intestate is as follows viz. the Whole Estate both real andPersonal amounts to the Sum of four hundred and twenty six Pounds twelve shillings and four pence of which three hundred Pounds is Real Estate and one hundred and twenty six Pound twelve shillings and four Pence is Personal Estate, outof which must be subducted the Sum of Twenty two Pounds five Shillings Debts due from said Estate and the Admt, her aut. allowed which being subducted there remains of the Personal Estate one hundred and four Pounds seven shillings and four pence of which Mary Foster the Widow of said Demand is to have one third Part forever being Thirty four Pounds fifteen shillings and nine pence 1/3 of a penny and of the Real Esate one Third Part During her Natural Life being one hundred Pounds.
