  • Notes
    • It is believed that Mr. Milford was the son of James and Martha Milford, and that one or the other, father or son, was the taxpayer which islisted in the history of Butler County, in the year 1854. The Milfordremoved from Butler CO. in the year 1876, taking with them their sevensurviving children, and going to Villisca, Iowa. At a later date, theyappear to have removed to Kansas, since Milton, who died in 1951, at age82, was the last of his family, and lived in Clearwater, Kansas, at thetime. Dr. Nellie Cramer, daughter of Julia, was of Wichita, Kansas at thetime. Louetta E., widow of Milton, was still living in 1952. As perSeries 4.
The order of the children's births are in order, even though the datesare not known. The position of the infant, however, is estimated:William, Infant, Elizabeth, Julia, Dickson, Mary, Milton, Ethan. As perSeries 4.
