    • He was a veteran of the Civil War, having served from August 25, 1862 toJune 1, 1863.
      This was an ill-fated family. The father, Japhia the sons Warren andRobert, and the daughter Laura Edith, all met untimely deaths. Thedaughter Emma was badly crippled with Arthritis. Surely a poor return fora family which contained two ministers, and two elders of the church. Thetwo elders were Japhiah and Warren. Nine of the family are buried in thecemetery of the West Sunbury Church. (Eleven as of 1982). As per Series4.
      Buried in local cemetery as per Leta.
