Mary Pendleton, only known daughter of Major Brian Pendleton,married Rev. Seth Fletcher, probably before 1655. He may have been son ofWilliam Fletcher of Concord, Mass., who died 3 Apr 1677, age 85 years. Asearly as 1655 Mr. Fletcher became the minister at Wells, Me., but owingto certain unorthodox views of his, was dismissed in October 1660. Fromthis time until the outbreak of the Indian war in 1675 he resided in Sacosupplying the pulpit except for short intervals from year to year.
