Notes |
- DEATH:
Joseph Nowak must have died prior to 1930 because Mary and her children appear in the census for that year living at 1302 Redman Ave. with her brother, who is listed as John WAMOROWSKI, age 50 and a widower. The name is misspelled and should be WOJNAROWSKI.
Per Elizabeth Joy, he is frequently referred to as "John Novak" on official documents such as birth and death certificates of his children (though none has yet been found for him).
~There might be some connection between the Ras, Nowak, or Wojnarowski families as Anna Wojnarowski had a wedding photo of Mary Ras's brother (Albert) and his wife in her possession. That marriage took place in 1915.
