      William Acie was living in Rowley, MA, and had grants of land therein 1643. In 1664 he purchased land in Topsfield, but continued to live inRowley. He was one of the Selectmen of that place in 1651 and Constablein 1654, and in 1665 and 1666 served as Judge of Deliquents. His will wasproved Sept. 20, 1690, wherein he mentions wife Margaret, but her maidenname is not known. She died in Rowley in Feb. 1674/5 and was buried onthe 12th of that month.
