Mr. Vincent has always resided in his native town, is highly esteemedand respected, and in his younger days was engaged in the manufacture ofsash and blinds. He owned a sawmill and did a thriving business. His mindis unclouded, and he is as active as a man many years younger. He is theson of William Vincent and Freelove Pendleton. Mr. William Vincent ownedthe house that was Jeptha Brown's, but a few rods from his son CharlesW., where he lived and died aged eighty-seven years.
