FOUND_AT: BIOGRAPHY: "Foster, Edwin J. (1847- ? ), lawyer, brother of Hanna A., Henry E., and Leonard G. Foster . . . was born in Strongsville, Cuyahoga County. After graduating from the law school of Boston University, he practiced in Cleveland until his retirement in 1885."

FOUND_AT: [Source: William Coyle (ed.), Ohio Authors and Their Books: Biographical Data and Selective Bibliographies for Ohio Authors, Native and Resident, 1796-1950 222 (Cleveland: World Publishing Co., for the Ohioana Library Association, 1962)] [Used with the gracious permission of the Ohioana Library Association]

      FOUND_AT: Poetry -- E. J. Foster, A Pasture Stroll (Cleveland: F.W. Bohn Co., 1914)

FOUND_AT: NOTE: The above information about siblings seems at odds with what is known of this family and may be a mixture of children from the Nathan Foster/Abigail Fish union and the Ebenezer Foster/Almira Williams union -- both couples having had a son named Edwin. Leonard G. Foster, mentioned above, was the son of Ebenezer, while Hanna was the daughter of Nathan.
