    • THE BROWN GENEALOGY, Vol. I, Boston, The Everett Press Company 1907, byCyrus Henry Brown, page 141.
Henrietta's mother, dying in Henrietta's infancy, she came to livewith her grandmother, Mrs. Susan Brown; here she made her home foreighteen years. Then she moved to Persia, Cattaraugus Co., NY, to makeher home with her aunt Mrs. Daniel Main, where she lived four years untilher marriage. They lived on the above mentioned farm eleven years, andfor sisteen years near Gowanda, retiring from active service; now, 1905,have lived nineteen years in their present house, Gowanda. This will showthe great changes that have taken place in one lifetime in the State ofNew York. Both are members of the Baptist Church.
