She was eduacated in the public schools ofAshaway and the Young Ladies' Seminary at De Ruyter, NY. She was greatlybeloved as wife, mother and Christian woman. Her children andgrandchildren were the crowning glory and dearest solace of her life, andher last words, as she was thinking of them, were: "I must leave them,but I have led them aright" -- parting words never to be forgotten.
