  BROWN GENEALOGY, Vol I, by Cyrus Henry Brown, Boston, The Everett PressCompany, 1907, page 202. He removed from Brookfield, NY to Chautauqua Co., NY, in 1839, butreturned the next year. In 1848 he removed to Columbus, NY, and in 1855removed to Prairieburg, Linn Co., Iowa, where he resided to the time ofhis death. He was a farmer, a Republican, and he and his wife weremembers of the Baptist Church.
