      Reuben was in 174th Regt. of OVI from 2 Aug 1884 - 28 Jun 1865,discharged at Charlotte, North Carolina. Military records listed him as5'2", fair complexion, hazel eyes and dark hair. In 1888 he moved hisfamily to central Kansas. After two winters they moved to Butler,Montana, then in the fall of 1891 to the Osage Nation near Pawhuska.After several years they moved down the river near Eli, in Rogers Co.north of Hwy. 20, west of the Verdigris River.
