Mr. Brown moved to Homer about 1800; was a pioneer of CortlandCounty. In the early days of Timothy Brown this country was new and wild,and abounded in many kinds of game and wild animals. Timothy Brown issaid to have been a noted hunter, having killed over forty bears.
