      In the Breed Burial Ground is stones for the two sons of Capt. John,Junior, Samuel and Roswell (1778-1844)...and the two wives of Roswell,Sarah Ann Hancox and Priscilla Chesebrough.

      STONINGTON BRANCH OF THE DESCENDANTS OF ALLEN BREED, p. 241.
      Roswell-6 Breed, b. Stonington, June 5, 1776, m. (1) Nov. 1, 1801Sarah Ann Hancox, b. Nov. 28, 1776, dau. of Edward and Sarah (Sheffield)Hancox. She died March 14, 1817 and he married (2) Jan. 11, 1818Priscilla Chesebrough, b. Feb. 28, 1785, dau. of Amos and Rebecca(Chesebrough) Chesebrough. He served in the War of 1812. He died July 20,1844, and she died Apr. 3, 1857. They resided in the part of Sstoningtononce known as Breedtown. He and his 1st and 2nd wives are buried in theold Breed Burial Ground in Stonington.
