      HOWARD YERINGTON
      Howard A. Yrington, 76, died Saturday, April 22, 1995, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Iowa City.
      Services are at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Hal Pearson of Walnut Park Baptist Church officiating.
      Burial will be at Muscatine memorial Park Cemetery.
      Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
      Memorials may be made to the Walnut Park Baptist Church.
      He was born in Rochester on March 9, 1919, to Archie and Zella Figgins Yerington.
      On Paril 18, 1942, he married Ruth Fern Grothe in Kahoka, Mo.
      Mr Yerington was a member of Walnut Park Baptist Church. Her served in the U.S. Air Force for three and one-half years. He worked for the Muscatine Street
      Department for 31 years.
      Survivors include his wife, Ruth; three daughters, Darla and her husband Del Meyer, Karen Hill, and Lisa and her husband David Cunningham, all of Muscatine; two
      brothers, Charles of Davenport, and Don of Muscatine, one sister, Janet Hamiel of Tipton; seen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
      He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Jerri Ann Day; one grandson, Timothy Arthur Hill; one sister, Mildred Wtimer; and two brothrs, Harry and
      Vernon Yeringon.
