  Mary Rogness's - Spouse of seventh cousin twice removed THE SUN, WESTERLY, RI, THURSDAY, JULY 29, 1993 LUCY MAIN Lucy E. (Burtch) Main, 80, formerly of Lantern Hill Road, OldMystic, wife of the late Morris Timothy Main, died Tuesday, July 27,1993, at the Mystic Manor Convalescent Center after an extended illness. Mrs. Main was born in Westerly, Oct. 16, 1912, the daughter of OscarI. and Florence (Johnson) Burtch. She attended the West Broad StreetSchool in Pawcatuck and was a graduate of the Westerly High School. She was employed as a housekeeper for area homes, and had beenemployed at the Old Mystic Motor Inn. She was a member of the Old Mystic Fire Department Ladies'Auxillary, the Long Pond Improvement Association, and the former LanternHill Mother's Club. Mrs. Main also had served as a consultant to the local Girl ScoutCouncils, and had taught classes out of her home for the Girl Scouts andBay Scouts who were in the process of earning nature badges. She is survived by two sons, Richard E. Main, Sr. of Moosup, Conn.,and Timothy O. Main of North Stonington; a daughter, Ruth M. Vatari ofEssex, Conn., a brother, Raymond Burtch of Stonington; a sister, MelvaMurphy of Westerly; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; andseveral nieces and nephews.
