      Allyn Nelson Main - MIDDLETOWN - Allyn Nelson Main, 67, of 29 Silver St.,died Saturday at Middlesex Memorial Hospital in Middletown.
      Born July 24, 1907 in Ledyard, he was the son of Allen and RoseRivers Main.
      He married the former Florence Wheeler April 3, 1929, in NorwichTown. She died in December 1062.
      He was an assistant herdsman in the dairy division of the
      Auer Farm for many years. He ws later employed at the Connecticut ValleyhHospital for over 10 years before retiring this year.
      He was a member of the Connecticut State Employes Association andCharter 400 of that organization.
      He was a former member of the First Congregational Church of NorwichTown.
      Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Santana ofPhiladelphia, Pa., Mrs. Evelyn Blair of Portland and Mrs. MarianoBermudez of Middletown; two brothers Charles Main of Vermont and HaroldMain of New Hampshire, five sisters, Mrs. Oliver Yound of South Windham,Mrs. William Fish of Gilman, Mrs. Angelo Perrona of Fitchville, Mrs.Chester Haughn of Somers and Mrs. Richard Elton of Fitchville; eightgrandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
      The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesdayh at Gagers Funeral Home on 85Sachem St., Norwich. The Rev. Robedrt Fell, pastor of UnitedCongregational Church in Durham, will officiate.
      Burial will be in the Ledyard Center Cemetery.
      Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
