GEORGE HUNT
MYSTIC -- George Wellington Hunt, 64, of 1730 West Columbia St.,Orlando, Fla, formerly of Mystic died Tuesday at Oragen MemorialHospital, Orlando, following a long illness.
Before leaving the area several years ago he was an electrician atGeneral Dynamics - Electric Boat. In Florida he worked in the airconditioning business.
Born in Groton, Feb. 11, 1915, he was the son of the late George A.and Lillie Etta Chesabro Hunt.
Surviviors include his wife E. Odella Holdridge Hunt, three sons,George W. and Gary W., both of Orlando and Ronald A. Hunt of Aiken, S.C.;tow sisters Nadine Bennett of Old Mystic and Geraldine Williams of Grotonand six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Saturday from Shea Williams FuneralHome, Mystic. Interment will be in Lambtown Cemetery, Ledyard.
There are no calling hours.
Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society,120 Broad St., New London.
Mr. George Wellington Hunt, 64, 1730 W. Columbia St., Orlando, diedTuesday. Born in Gorton, Conn, he moved to Orlando from Mystic, Conn in1952. He was an air conditioner maintenance man and attended FirstBaptist Church, Orlando. He was a member of Pipefitters and PlumbersUnion Local 808. Survivors: wife, Mrs.
E. Odella, sons, George W. and Gary W., Orlando, Ronald A. Aiken, S.C.;sisters, Mrs. Nadine Bennett and Mrs. Geraldine Williams, Mystic, Conn,and six grandchildren. W. Guy Black Home for Funerals, Orlando.
