    • Amos Gates settled in Brookline, Massachusetts and moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts and bought 100 acres from Edward Wilson in 1729 for £650. It was the Charles Trowbridge Farm and he settled there. He was a selectman. [Research of Lucy Traves]
