• Notes	Christopher Avery left his wife in England and came with one of theWinthrops in either 1630 or 1631. He was a land owner in Gloucester in1642. In 1649 he bought a home in Boston near the current site of PostOffice Square. In 1665 he moved to New London, Connecticut.
