Notes |
- Robert owned and operated a gas station in Wellington, Ohio during WWII while the family lived in Huntington, Ohio. The family moved to Elyria in the late 40's and Bob went to work in the shipyards at Lorain as an electrician. He stayed in the electrical union until he retired. In the late 50's they bought a piece of property on Traverse Bay in Acme, Michigan, that held a big house facing the bay and two small rental cabins. They built a 7 unit motel with housekeeping units and operated and maintained it during the summers until 1975.
