  SOURCE_OF_NAME: The surname WOZNICKA was provided by family members, however, the death certificates for both Aniela and her sister, Pauline, list the father's name as KENSICKI. On her son Ladislaus (Walter)'s death certificate, her surname is spelled GESICKI. Pauline's first husband, Wizniewski, died very young in Europe. She came over when her boys were about 1-1/2 yrs and 9 mos. A misinterpretation of the Wizniewski name may be why family members thought Woznicki was her maiden name. Pauline was Godmother of Isabel Wanicki.
