  OBIT: Mr. Chas. Hook and his sister, Mrs. R. Hankinson, returned from Cleveland, O., Thursday evening, where they were last Friday on account of the death of their sister, Mrs. Matilda Johnson, well known here as Miss Matilda Hook by her many schoolmates who attended school at the Seminary with her several years ago, and what a splendid nice girl she was.December 24, 1901, The Tribune, p. 3, col. 6, Evansville, Wisconsin Matilda Hook Johnson is buried near her grandparents.
