    • Ora Crandall died at a Red Wing hospital Wednesday at 3 p.m, after a week's serious illness. He had however been in ill health for several years.
      Mr. Crandall was born in Pine Island township on the present Rudolph Grossbach farm 72 years ago last Feb. 22. He spent all his life in this vicinity, residing near the village.
      About 50 years ago he married Mrs. Harriet (Youngs) Smith, who survives him, together with an adopted son, David. He also leaves three sister, Mrs. Elphia Teague, Minneapolis. Mrs. Mede Carlon, Mazeppa and Mrs. Al Mitchell, Rochester. Another sister, Mrs. Joe Reneaux, died last week and a brother, J. H. Crandall passed away several years ago.
      The funeral will be held Friday at ?.?. m. from the house and 2 p.m from the M.E. church, Rev. Gene ? officiating . Interment will be in the Mazeppa cemetery.
