    • Arrived at NYC 10 Nov 1903 on the Kaiser Wilhelm II out of Bremen, Germany. Last residence was Blatna (about 10.5 miles SW of Bojesice. His son, "Karl Rozhon", paid his passage. In 1903, they were living at 750 W. 18th Street, Chicago, Illinois. Manifest image onfile. His entry appears on line #11.

      By the time of the 1910 Federal Census, he is a widower. It's unknown if his wife ever came to the U.S.

      OBIT: Notification that after a short illness, died on Tuesday, 1 Jul 1913, at 8 a.m. our beloved father and grandfather, ANTONIN ROZHON, who came from Blatne, kraj Pisek, Bohemia to America 10 years ago.

      Antonin is shown as a widower aged 70. Arrived in U.S. 1905. Employed as a laborer doing odd jobs.

      The census states that Antonin arrived 1905 and filed "AL" papers, however, a ship manifest for 3 Nov 1903 for the Kaiser Wilhelm clearly shows that Antonin actually arrived in 1903.

      Arrived on the Kaiser Wilhelm out of Bremen, Germany on 3 Nov 1903 at Ellis Island. Destination was his son, Karl Rozhon, of 750 W. 18th St., Chicago.
